We've pulled together the questions we get asked the most and put the answers here, to help you plan your day.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are welcome in the Deer Park and Bishop's Kitchen outdoor courtyard as long as they are on a lead at all times. Dogs are not allowed inside any of The Auckland Project's attractions unless they are Assistance Dogs.

Are there toilets available?

Toilets are available in all attractions. Accessible toilets are also located in each of our venues.

Can I use my Friends’ membership to visit The Auckland Project?

Yes, please rest assured that we are honouring all current Friends’ memberships at present.

What Covid-19 health and hygiene measures are you implementing?

Our team are continuing to manage visitor numbers at our sites. We encourage you to make use of our hand sanitiser stations during your visit. Increased cleaning schedules in toilets and other areas of high use, remain in place for your safety. You don’t need to wear a face covering to enter our venues, but please take care of yourself and others by staying at home if you have any Covid-19 symptoms.

Is photography allowed?

Photography (without flash) and filming for personal use only is allowed in Auckland Castle and Auckland Tower.

Can I bring a bag with me?

If you bring a bag to the Spanish Gallery, you can leave it in a locker. The lockers are 30cm wide x 44cm high. If you are visiting Auckland Castle or the Mining Art Gallery, rucksacks should be worn on your front, rather than your back. Please don’t bring very large bags with you, as unfortunately we can’t store them for you.

Who should I contact for media or filming enquiries?
