NEW CAR PARK FOR BISHOP AUCKLAND Monday, 28 January 2019
We are working with Durham County Council to create more car parking spaces for town centre shoppers.
Over the next few months a derelict piece of land at Kingsway, Bishop Auckland, will be transformed into a new short stay car park, complete with 72 spaces and pedestrian access to the main shopping area at Newgate Street.
While we own the land itself, the car park will be built and run by the Council, as part of a joint commitment to helping boost local business.
Work will begin shortly, with the car park due to open in autumn 2019.
