FREE CHRISTMAS ENTRY TO THE MINING ART GALLERY Monday, 10 December 2018
National Lottery players will receive an extra gift this Christmas, as the Mining Art Gallery gallery opens its doors for free.
From Thursday, 27 to Sunday, 30 December 2018, the Mining Art Gallery in Bishop Auckland Market Place is offering free entry to anyone with an official National Lottery ticket or scratch card.
The gallery is joining hundreds of participating National Lottery-funded visitor attractions across the country to thank people who have raised money for good causes by buying a lottery ticket.
While not funding the gallery directly, National Lottery players have already contributed £12.4m of funding to the wider Project, via the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
To enjoy free entry to the Mining Art Gallery, visitors can present a paper or digital ticket, for any date and from any National Lottery draw-based game, or a scratch card. If presented at the Gallery, on December 27, 28, 29 and 30, one ticket will provide free entry for one person to the Mining Art Gallery.
