FESTIVE FUN FOR EVERYONE Tuesday, 1 November 2016
Throughout November and December Auckland Castle, will be hosting a feast of festive treats, including the return of its popular Christmas Food & Craft Market.
The Castle’s St Peter’s Chapel – one of the largest private chapels in Europe today – will be open for tours, and will be hosting family-friendly Christmas Craft activities on selected days.
Adult craft workshops, including wreath making and candle making, will be held throughout December, with all events supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
For foodies of all ages Auckland Castle’s Library Tea Room remains open daily until November 27 and will also be hosting a series of special events throughout the festive period.
This includes breakfast and afternoon teas with Father Christmas, Dinner in the Library, a Gin Masterclass with Durham Gin and a special Pop-up Pub with Black Paw Brewery.
