Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome in the Deer Park and Gardens as long as they are on a lead at all times. Dogs are welcome in the Bishop’s Kitchen outdoor courtyard which can be accessed via the North Terrace Garden. Dogs are not allowed inside any of The Auckland Project’s attractions at any time, unless they are Assistance Dogs.
Are there toilets available?

Is photography allowed?
Photography (without flash) and filming for personal use only is allowed in Auckland Castle and Gardens, Auckland Tower and the Spanish Gallery.
Can I bring a bag with me?
If you bring a bag to the Spanish Gallery, you can leave it in a locker. The lockers are 30cm wide x 44cm high. If you are visiting Auckland Castle or the Mining Art Gallery, rucksacks should be worn on your front, rather than your back. Please don’t bring very large bags with you, as unfortunately we can’t store them for you.
What happens if I lose my Unlimited Pass or Friends membership card?
Please don’t worry if you lose your Unlimited Pass or Friends membership card. Simply visit any of our attractions to request a new card. You will need to provide the name, postcode and email address you originally used to create your account, and our team will then be able to issue a new card.
